The Student Government Association is made up of the executive officers, which are elected by the student body, and our representatives from each grade, elected by that particular grade. Its purpose is to develop leadership and citizenship; to maintain and establish a high moral standard; to insure a spirit of democracy; to create a respect and ambition for higher scholastic attainments, to encourage cooperation and participation of students in all school activities. The main responsibilities of the SGA are to act as mediator between the student body and administration and promote activities that contribute to the general welfare of the school.
